And then afterwards, I asked him if he wanted a cold cup of ice water..
and I even batted my eyelashes at him.

In other news, we are enjoying every minute of our time away with kids.
While I miss our kids, its nice to have that time to reconnect, to reminisce and to reflect on
the changes, the adventures and most importantly to make plans for the future.
And he let me take a picture of him. Now that's true love my friends.
It was a wonderful weekend .. just the both of us.
And I don't want to forget how special it was...because it really is so easy to forget.
Amidst the swimming classes, the potty training, snack time, nap time and all that mothering
stuff I tend to forget that there is another relationship that needs to be nurtured and cared for.
The one with my husband.
And today, it's back to reality.
More painting to be done today.
{sigh} I'm seriously not liking this painting thing anymore.
