wiww

why, hello blog, i have missed you.
i'm here.. and just barely squeaking by.
i thought i would post a couple of outfits for what i wore wednesday
and maybe get myself back into posting regularly again.

it's been a busy last couple of weeks with life and my mothers surgery.
my valentines day decor is still up,
i think i'll just save myself the trouble for next year and just leave it up.. ha!

we have had some beautiful weather around here
{not counting today. today was windy, cold and gross. bleh.}
but i can feel spring starting to come around.
we are so looking forward to it!

shoes/cardi/pants: target, shirt: old navy, belt: f21
{don'tcha just love those headless photos? kinda creeps me out
but believe me.. it's for the best}

as a side note, i think that cardigan is called a boyfriend cardigan.
seriously.
why would they call it that?

best.shoes.ever.
except that they make me look extra short.
let me prove it to you..

sweater/black long sleeve {old}/shoes: target, skinnies: walmart {old}

see, i told you so :)

i really need to try harder at mixing up my outfits.
black and brown...
uh, yeah.
very original.

dress/tights: target, cardi/belt: f21, boots: carlos santana unity

cardi/watch: target, shirt; gap, jeans: tjmaxx

and for the record, it's true what they say about red lipstick.
it really does make a gal feel a little bold,
bold enough to try a brand spankin' new recipe for dinner.
and you best believe i was wearing my red lipstick while i was cooking
it was pretty darn awesome :)

****
can't wait to check out all your outfits!
i have really missed wiww and am excited to get back into it
{even though i'm a little slow about it}.

linking up with lindsey at the pleated poppy

have a great day!

I love that black dress with the brown belt and boots, it looks really, really good on you!
I also love the last photo of you, you look like you are a model! Your hair looks super fabulous and the red lipstick and necklace are the perfect pop.

i love the belted dress look. i'm just starting to get into that myself, but can't find a good thrifted chunky belt. i may break down and buy one from a store (gasp!).

I've missed you, too. But you are looking great! And I love the colors you wear! :) I have a pair of flats that I feel very short in, too, but I wear them anyway because they are cute. :)

Those shoes do NOT make you look short.

Cute outfits.

Why do you cut your head off in so many photos??? You are too cute to skip.

Glad you jumped back in! Love that first outfit and I've also wondered why they give clothes strange names? :/ The shoes are awesome and don't seem to make you appear short in the 1st pic! Then again, I had an issue with shoes this week. Also like your dress with boots, wonderful. And the grey with red...simple yet oh so stylish.
