"Honor your father and mother"--which is the first commandment with a promise--

"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."

Fathers, do not exasperate your children;

instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."

"Bring them up in the training & instruction of the Lord"-

sometimes, this is just so hard to do.

So very hard.

We are up against a huge monster that is today's culture.

And it threatens to teach our kids how to talk, how to act,

whom to respect and who to follow.

But we will remain alert and watchful of the influences

that come into their little world and their little hearts.

We will discipline and instruct them as best as possible

until the time comes for them to go out on their own.

But until that time comes, we will just continue to do the best we can do.

And you better believe..

we aren't scared of any monsters.
