wiww - it's really cold out there.

the last two weeks have been a whirlwind..

I had family visiting for the holidays and when my family visits we spending

 virtually every waking minute together.

for reals.

i'm sure they are more then ready to go home at the end of their trip! ha!

I really did try  to catch as many outfit pictures as possible but I really didn't do a good job of it.

can you imagine: "uh, excuse me family while I step outside and take a picture of myself

or better yet, can someone take a picture of my outfit?"

ha :)

I'd like to say one thing about the outfit above.

it's so cold outside I thought my nose was going to fall off..

and I've got layers and layers of clothing on as well

and yet I'm still cold.

this is the time of the year when I feel like a polar bear..

a short polar bear.

I asked my husband to take my picture while the rest of my family was inside the warm

and cozy house.

and you know the best part...

he no longer complains.. he just grabs the camera and just takes the pictures.

I think he's either gettin' the hang of this..

he's just given up

or he really really loves me :)

what you don't usually see in these pictures are my knee high socks that I usually have under

my jeans/skinnies and tank tops under all my shirts.

one final comment about the outfit above..

you will most likely receive a comment {or several} about

wearing a poodle, a dog or a bird when you have on a vest like this.

usually from a male.. like your husband.
