my 2012 prayer list

oh, 2012 what will you bring?

2011 was a big year for me as far as trying new things (why, hello blog)
and I have to admit, 2011 was my year of prayer.
I have prayed more then ever before this year..

and you know what?
prayer works.

sometimes my prayers are answered pretty quickly..
and in some cases.. well, I'm still waiting to hear something back.

so now, I welcome 2012 with open arms
and with my little list of prayers for the year
(and I've already thought of a couple more as I sit here typing this post).

while I know it may sound a little corny,
I'm a list person and I like to mark things off my list.
so I'll be working really hard on my prayer list this year..
my hope is that this time next year,
I will look at back at this post and feel a sense of accomplishment.

did you make a list of goals/prayers or resolutions?
if so, I'd love to see them..
leave me your blog link in the comment section and I'll go check it out.

for now, my friends,
go forth and embrace 2012..
it's gonna be a fabulous year :)

hi there :) i found you through life made lovely blog and your adorable home tour. i love your list of prayers, instead of crazy goals that we drive ourselves nuts over...when they're prayers, we know we're not going at it alone!
happy to "meet" you!

This is a great list! We started a garden 2 years ago...it was a nighmare...lol...but now we have the hang of it...and it is super easy! Baking is easy to...you have to cheat like using cake from a box with icing but adding toasted coconut on top...people are amazed :)

I like your list of prayers. I think I'll have to join you in praying rather than making resolutions I'll never do! God can surely help me accomplish some things. :)

Great list! I need to do some of these too, like number 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,10,11...Okay I should just copy your list, might be easier ;)

I love how intentional your list is and how your desires reflect a desire to grow in the most important areas! Your last "to-do" made me smile :) I made play dough for my students for Christmas and despite being teenagers, they loved it!

Here's the awesome recipe I used:
