Rebecca, haha you are hilarious! Yes, in English it is pronounced the same as "floor" (the ground).. it's actually a spanish name and it means flower. It sounds MUCH nicer in spanish..kind of like "florrrrr" (the r is rolled beautifully) but it's hard for non-spanish speakers to say it that way so it's pronounced "floor" lol :)
