I love rules. I love structure
and I love me some hand-made wall decorations.
Combine all of that together and you get this little project.
I had been eyeing it on the craft blogs for months and months now..
and pinterest had them all over the place..
I had told my husband I had wanted to make one.
{Of course, when I say "I" I actually meant "him, my husband".
And the poor guy doesn't even ask anymore. He just knows he's gonna be stuck doing it.
Kind of like when he says "Oh, we can make this for dinner." That actually means that I'm
going to be the one cooking that for dinner.
Yeah, just like that.}
Yeah, just like that.}
The wooden slats were from old wooden sod pallets that my neighbor had
left over.
It was perfect.. they were old and perfectly imperfect. If I had
purchased the wood at Home Depot it just would have looked too clean.
And this look fits our style so much better... fits right in with the shoes
laying around and the laundry pile on the couch.
Thank you husband for making this for me.
I plan, you execute. It's perfect.
It's true love.
Just makin' a house into our home,
