Fluffing our nest

As soon as spring time comes around I have this tendency to fluff our nest..
in order words, I go on a cleaning and organizing binge.
I blame it entirely on the sun..
because now that the sun is out longer we are able to see all the dust that has accumulated all winter long...
and it becomes absolutely necessary to freshen things up a bit..
and in doing so we make new plans..we purge.. and we declutter..
we make room for our house and our minds to relax and breathe.

But it seems as if I'm not the only one that feels this way..
this is his idea of "fluffing" - he begins to work on the backyard..
and not just in the physical sense..
I can see his mind spinning with ideas and projects that he wants to try {thanks HGTV}...

He has a vision of kids playing, family bbq's and lazy summer evenings..
and he is doing his part to make it happen..
one shovel full at a time.
